About us
Building financial capability in South Sudan
Unlocking opportunities for financial growth.
Who we are
Yaya Capital Limited is a microfinance company operating in South Sudan. We provide working capital, agricultural, salary-backed, group and asset finance to customers who are building livelihoods in a challenging economy.
Our model is deliberately conservative. Loan sizes start small and grow with a proven repayment record. Assessment is evidence-based, decisions are documented, and customers receive a clear schedule showing exactly what is owed and when.
Mission
To expand access to fair, well-explained credit so that small enterprises and households can invest, grow and withstand shocks.
Governance
Credit decisions follow approval authority limits with maker–checker separation: the officer who prepares an assessment is never the person who approves it. Access to customer data is granted by role on a least-privilege basis, and material actions are written to an immutable audit log.
Our values
- Responsible lending
- We lend what a customer can repay, assessed against documented income and commitments.
- Transparency
- Rates, fees and total cost are disclosed before signing — no hidden charges.
- Inclusion
- We serve customers the formal sector often overlooks: traders, farmers, women's groups and micro-enterprises.
- Accountability
- Approvals follow defined authority limits, and every material action is recorded in an audit trail.
